Ay Yo, bring back them "Flexibles" , man. The Ta's Ulmer Park Depot had them and they were the SHIZNIT in the 9000 Series.

@1985jon: It may be loud but it sounds hot!

Nothing Like A Throwback Bus. I ride & drive them anyday before i drive these "Plastic Buses" LOL!

I remember riding these as a kid. MSBA in NY had a few of these until about '93, but I believe ours had 8v-71 engines. Not too sure tho.... Then they leased a couple from NYCTA that had these classic 6v-71's in them. Memories!

I remember riding the B53 bus many times in Brooklyn. These buses had style that is lacking in the newer buses.

This would have to be the best GM/Flxible Newlook video I have come across, just listen to those GM 6V's roar and grumble. I'm Australian, but ever since seeing the movie 'Speed' I have really been quite obsessed with Fishbowls/Newlooks.
Best buses around. Excellent video, cant wait to see more! :) :)

Here in NJ we call them fishbowls too. I remember riding them as a kid. In Hackensack the 752 was the B2, 753 was B3 and the 770 was the P9 (B for Bergen County and P for Passaic County)
New Buses with their boring style only induce people to drive.
