Hi Caliber is my brother. He's also a conservative hip hop artist/republican rapper. He was out in DC selling some CDs to get the masses thinking about their political choices. You can find more music, and find out more about him at http://www.myspace.com/hicaliber

I don't personally like hip hop, but he's done a fine job getting his points across and it's definitely worth a listen, especially if you're on the fence of your political affiliation choice.

You can find more information on the interview at http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-02-28/meet-the-republican...

  • If you're really Caliber's brother, you should have stopped him from eating those paint chips before it was too late.

  • oh. my. god. that guy is such an idiot.

  • Wow. What an idiot!

  • this is a joke

  • @GBTRU Um, Public Enemy, Zulu Nation, Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five, Dead Prez, the billion rappers who put out anti George W. Bush songs, etc. Lot's of early hip hop dealt specifically with political themes: racism, poverty, etc. And, today, there is a litany of politically motivated hip hop acts. What makes this guy a joke is that he is co-opting an art form that grew out of poverty and oppression to defend the political interests that are responsible for these inequalities.

  • @GBTRU, Youre brainwashed son. The elites have purposefully manipulated the industry to phase out any lyrics or songs that make you critically think or uncover the propaganda they feed you every night on the news. To say that any self respecting rapper doesnt rap about politics is ridiculous. Any rapper who doesnt rap about politics in this day and age is a fake bootlicking masonic slave. Was 2pac a rapper w/ self respect? Immortal Tech? Paris?

  • Credit should be given for expressing one views, right or left, in a way that is poetic (or not, thats a matter of opinion). Those who push this guy down are jealous because they don't have the balls to do what he is doing.

  • Any self respecting rapper doesn't rap about politics. Maybe there is some name drops of politicians in other rappers tracks, but not explicitly about politics. This guy is a fucking hack, and his raps are weak. This is so fucking weak. What a wannabe.

  • Bitch you don't make beats. You r a clown you don't know shit bout nothing. You said once that New Jersey indo was the best in the country. Really how is that? What you got better water, grow lights, rockwool, hydroton in NJ then the rest of the country. What is it? How does NJ have the best indo? Idiot you don't know what indo is. Your comments prove that you are a silly ass jive turkey poser. Yeah you are hip hop like MC hammer
