@GBTRU Um, Public Enemy, Zulu Nation, Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five, Dead Prez, the billion rappers who put out anti George W. Bush songs, etc. Lot's of early hip hop dealt specifically with political themes: racism, poverty, etc. And, today, there is a litany of politically motivated hip hop acts. What makes this guy a joke is that he is co-opting an art form that grew out of poverty and oppression to defend the political interests that are responsible for these inequalities.
