  • You are correct. Rev. Nolan Williams is the arranger. This change has been made.

  • I wish they had done the whole song. :-(

  • I was recently brought back to this clip by some singers...it was not used as a positive reference on how to sing or perform spirituals. Thank you universe for conformation!! heehee!!!

  • Gave me goose bumps! LOVED IT!

  • Very nice rendition of this song. I also like the fact that he continued to stay true to the orginal song.

  • this is an arrangement by Rev Nolan Williams, and this version is orginal to Metropolitan baptist, even recorded before 2001 on a ministy cd. Im sure there are several versions of the song. The original arrangement had a musical arrangment and a prose by senor servant Dr. H Beecher Hicks Jr.

  • Lol. you're right, I am Right... Real Musicians know that there are SEVERAL arrangements of pieces so classic as the Done made my vow. Even non musicians know that...

  • i don't think being a musician has ANYTHING to do with it... I mean seriously get over yourself. You're right. okay? happy?

  • This is his arrangement. Obviously, you're not a musician.

  • Yea im frm cincinnati and my old group used to sing it "called peace and Serenity" GOSH THE MEMORIES

  • My choir in Cincinnati, Ohio ain't never heard of no Nolan Williams and we've been singin this song for years. I'm not sayin he didn't... I'm just confused on how we got it in 2001 at the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses Midwest Regional in Cincinnati. Then my church choir took it form there and we've been singin it ever since.
