Vice City Challenge: Fly The Unfriendly Skies *REDUX*

NOTE:
This is a re-upload of a previous video, using new music and gameplay footage. Also, the chopper used in the video is difficult to control and aim at the same time. Therefore, there are a lot of transitions that cut out predictible scenes. (i.e., just flying from place to place without much shooting) That said, enjoy the video! This should be the last one for at least a week, so keep an eye out on completely new stuff coming soon!

Vid Summary:
In this challenge, I demonstrate how to get the cops angry at you by using the Hunter helicopter! Unfortunately, as you can see, I'm not so good at it. During the mall rooftop visit, I skip over a part because it made the video too long. I basically just threw some molotovs down there, blew up some cars with the minigun, stuff like that, to get 3 stars.

Cause of Challenge Ending: Killed By Soldiers while trying to retrieve a second Hunter


The Challenge:
In "Fly the Unfriendly Skies", you must solely use the Hunter chopper to blow up vehicles, and earn a wanted level, until you die or get busted. Rack up your points by counting each vehicle as one point, or by going by this point scale:

2-wheeled vehicles: 1 point
2-door vehicles: 2 points
4-door vehicles: 4 points
Large Trucks: 5 points
Law Enforcement Vehicles: 6 points
Police Chopper: 8 points
Other: .5 points


Detailed Steps:

Step Zero:
Save your progress before you begin the challenge.

Step 1:
You -must- have either beaten the main story, or found all 100 hidden packages, to obtain a Hunter. Find one at either Fort Baxter, or on the helipad next to the South-most blue house on the first island. ("Lance's Apartment" in Vice City Stories)

Step 2:
Using the missile launcher and machine gun equipped with the Hunter, blow up vehicles on the ground (and in the air, if you can) for points!


YOU WILL FAIL THE CHALLENGE IF:
-You use cheats
-You are outside of the Hunter for more than 2 minutes after starting the challenge (I failed here)
-You purposefully stand in the line of fire to end the challenge
-You keep the Hunter stationary on the ground while you fire
-You use a Sea Sparrow instead

how do you go forwards in the heli. oh and i dont have the num pad or num lock.

how did you get infinate ammo, healeth higher then 100, armor higher then 100, and how the hell did you make your character like that!!! please send me a message, or send a meesage to IB a IN ID o IS

It's technically not infinite ammo. It's still limited, but I acquired so much ammo of that weapon, the number characters don't go up that high. I got more health by doing the Pizza Boy missions, and more armor by doing the Vigilante missions. I got the character mod from krystalarchive[dot]com. It comes with instructions.

that is not how you get a hunter, you have to finish all onehundred hidden packages and go to military barracks and get it.you just parked it on a helipad next to a house in washington beach!!!!!!!!!!

ah, I am mistaken! You must beat the storyline -and- have all 100 hidden packages for the hunter to appear on the convenient helipad. I didn't put it there at all, try it for yourself.

um, no, no I didn't, sir. It appears on that helipad there after you defeat all of the Rampages, I believe. To be honest, it's been so long since I've played it, I forgot what it takes for it to appear there, but I didn't just "park" it there. It appears after you do something. Like I said, I -believe- it's when you beat all Rampages.
