@CumbiaCowboy Quite a few of the orig. stones are out there still..at least more than "normal" for a band out there working since the early 60's. Heard Stone's bassist Bill Wyman on the radio the other day...a cool guy who's really into metal detecting. But I know what you're saying. My bet is that this was originally cut with a studio band....probably all cats that most of us would know the names of, if you're into music. I sure would like to find out who was on the orig. cut. Anybody know?

Why isn't this man "out there" night after night making millions of dollars? What a voice. Never heard a better one belt this type of stuff out. One of my favorite songs ever since I first heard it in either '66 or '67. joel in tucson

This isn't the real Bobby who recently died. This is Ben Moore who joined the band after Bobby left the group. Ben used the name Bobby Purify when performing often. But RIP to the original Bobby whose full name was Robert Lee Dickely. He died Dec 29th, 2011.

I heard he has passed on the radio. He is another RnB great goin on thru the pearly gates. He is in the best company now, and will be missed.. Its nice to have this video to see him here, when we want to. I love this song, thank you.
