The President of Chad is clearly greedy with Power, I really do hope the violence seizes as this does not take a country everywhere, look at Somalia, it is just a cycle of violence repeating itself.

He who live by the gun, shall died by the gun.
it's about time we African change our mentality in serving our peiple. the people in Chad are destroying their country and infastructures like Liberia because of a person who think he or she has monopoly on the triggle of an AK-47.

There is so very little of this stoy and mess in the MSM in the US. Thank you AlJazeera for being in English so that we in the US can get some solid African news. Thanks Youtube for being there to get video clips worldwide instantaneously. I feel sorry for the Chadian civilians who are caught in the crossfire. I hope that a resolution to the mess can quickly be found. I wonder if the French will help or hinder a rapid resolution.

It's sad really, how the value of human lives are different only because of their skin colour and nationality. Here in the UK these headlines barely make it to the BBC while more pressing matters are happening on the other side of the world.

Can any see that the Afriocan continent is in mess because of the activities of these so-called developed countries? France has helped put Idriss derby in office and they encouraged him to stay in power despite the expiration of his term. Now what do they do? fly their people in helicopters and leave the chadian people to rot. This hotel reminds me of the story of Hotel Rwanda and yet people are blaming the AFrican leaders for the mess in the continet. Think twice please!!!!

Who is behind this? which side is France supporting? does this have to do anything with the conflict in Darfur? Does this have to do anything with the oil companies? these are the questions we should ask!
