Dread would be dead in seconds vs fire dragons?

In my experience depends on what you upgrade. If you get the laz cannon upgrade. It pretty much tears up anything in its path.

Dreads are best not upgraded since their upgrade takes away one of their arms therefore lowers melee damage. So unless you want your dread to act as a range unit, in which case it would be better to buy a hellfire dread. Best not upgrade.

Plus post some wraitlords or krootoxens tearing infantry apart.

I can't do that. :) Space Marines foreva <3. I am a huge stiff about just playing space marines. Very rarely do I play necrons. But thats about it.

Even table top space marines.

I love it when space marine players mass dreadnaught drops. Its almost a gurentee you will face these things. They arn't a problem to kill if you make sure to keep about 2 anti veh squads. Part of why I love ork, tank bustas demolish these things.

*sigh* no they dont i have all three dawn of war games and none of them include chaos dreadnoughts i also play the board game, chaos dreadnoughts can get a plasma cannon or a twin-linked auto cannon(not reaper auto cannon) or a twin-linked lascannon, but im not sure if it gets a multi-melta, as those hereitics havent had a scene with one.

Doesn't matter whether you're a Chaos Marine, Tyranid, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Ork, Tau or Necron... once a Dreadnought's grabbed you, it's all over but the shouting. Just ask that poor greenskin in the Dawn of War 2 promo trailer... that Dread broke his back with a single arm wrench, then smashed him to the ground headfirst.

And Orks think that's FUN... they're born insane, I'm telling you. It's the only explanation why they're so violent.

i use hellfire dreads for melee but have one standards upgraeded with the cannon thats good against buildings if im attacking a base let the hellfire distract while the others kill
