The religious show a propensity to ignore the normal mental functions that they usually employ in everyday life.

The arguments that they use to justify their position are arguments that they would never take seriously in any other area of their lives.

The arguments they use to seek to persuade others to their way of thinking are utterly vacuous. They are certainly not arguments that they would accept in favor of other faiths.

  • Great video!! Keep up the good work.

  • Origin is different than a creator. A creator is not necessarily the bible god.

Thousands of religions with thousands of gods claim to know for sure that their specific god

created the universe. Not a single one can prove that the universe was created by, say, Allah and not YHWH or Zeus.

  • And yes, the final point is valid: just because history corroborates Biblical testimony doesn't alone validate all the claims in the Bible. It is validated in more areas than that alone.

Interesting legal spin on the arguments, but otherwise I am unimpressed.

  • I'm not quite sure if the originator of this video has done any research into some of his claims. "2000 year old story evidenced in a 400 year old book" does not do any justice to archaeological studies and general history studies for one.

And to the analogy of scientists disagreeing and Christianity disagreeing...more ironically than his claim, he never actually invalidates the point. At best, he is calling Christians hypocritical, implying that the point is valid.

  • In fact, it seems illogical NOT to infer an originator. Some scientists have gone so far as to say life on our planet was "planted" so to speak by life from an alien planet hitching a ride on space junk that crashed into earth's atmosphere, because the amount of time it would take to evolve by current theory is astronomical.

  • It would be more appropriate to have "Christianity" instead of "religion" in the title.

Scientists seem to be sure the universe has an origin (Big Bang, anyone?). I'm not sure how I follow the logic that inferring an originator is illogical. I do see the point that inferring a specific originator is faulty in that one piece of evidence alone.

  • Very good!!

  • I thought I recognised that voice. I was going to give a rant about giving credit where it's due, but decide to check the description box just in case you did. The fact is most people wouldn't have checked, which is why it's general custom to indicate this video is a mirror in the title.

  • @bdw5000 Good Video man, keep them up please.
