No (as tempting as it is) they are not like chickens and should be left to it, they need to absorb the yolk sac, which takes them a long time!

It's a Hermanni Boettgeri, shells are kinda squishy when they hatch, I'm hoping to improve on this video when my redfoots start hatching in about 8 weeks.
