@ConstantineJoseph really blame the Byzantines ? ...the muslims conquered everything from Spain all the way to India...what makes you think they wouldn't spread their religion all the way to northern Germany ?

@TheJasonDR Doubt that. Muslims lived in peace with Christians prior to the Holy War in 1098- 1099.
Of course the Muslims were wrong to conquer Jerusalem in the 7th century from the Byzantines. We only have to blame the Byzantines for their opulence and their lack of strengthening their borders around Persia and the middle east.
