@TCUSolidWolf in a nutshell... arcade style overhead flight game where 800 year old magicians, gods, demons, ect, that look like young girls throw massive dakka dakka energy spells of death at each other in intricate patterns.

Touhou project is a series of shmup games where girls fly around shooting magical blasts like crazy at eachother. Most attacks from the opponent are in patterns, so memorizing them is part of the game. There's also a few fighters where they do the same thing. Most interesting fact about the games would be that almost the entire series is made by one guy, ZUN. Search youtube for spell card 222 for a shmup example. Also search Tohgeki, which is tournament footage of one of the fighters.

Well, that's a bit different. Never expect a Touhou pic with King of Fighters music. Unless there are other characters who have a similiar look to Yukari that I'm unaware of.
