agreements created under the Venice Convention are not "opinions" - they're law, and so restrict the ECJ's interpretation of Lisbon. Also, in light of that restriction, the ECJ cannot find differently. The ECJ is bound by the Vienna Convention because all European Treaties, including those setting up the ECJ, come under the Vienna Convention. Guarantees are under Vienna. ECJ is under Vienna. ECJ cannot break Vienna Rules. Guarantees are Vienna Rules. Ergo ECJ cannot break the Guarantees.

i get negative rep for stating facts...lovely

VOTE NO IRELAND!!!!!!!!
The guarantees are registered with the UN under the Vienna Convention rules. These rules make no mention of binding "individuals" - they bind states and groups of states, like the EU. Moreover, a breach of the guarantees would not only permit, but necessitate UN sanctions.
Where did you pick up the "Only binding on individuals" argument? I suggest you check your sources.
What is expressly prohibited in the guarantees cannot be implied by the ECJ, which is bound by UN Rules

It is farcical to insist that an opinion of heads of government can trump a treaty ratified by the parliaments of EU member states.
Just think about it. You're suggesting that the Treaty can be restricted by an agreement of heads of government meeting behind closed doors. Why have a ratification process if that's the case?
Anyway they've stated that what they say conforms with the treaty. So if the ECJ finds differently, it'll simply be a case of politicians making an error of interpretation!

Utter nonsense. Empty Rhetoric. Mr Greene admits to being marginalised and that even those who are by definition "pro-life" consider his platform baseless. His answer - "Ignore them!" Hardly progressive, hardly democratic, but definitely paranoid. The legally binding guarantees are legally binding. It is easy to say they are not when the people in the crowd wouldn't know how to find out for themselves. He is telling the lies they want to hear. They are sheep. He is a cynical manipulator.

They are not legally binding on the ECJ, the EU Commission, the EU institutions, or even the offices of head of government. They are only binding, if at all on the individuals. They may bind Cowen & Brown etc but not their successors.
Besides, they are clear that if the text of the treaty conflicts with the guarantees, then the treaty is superior. Therefore the purported guarantees have no value.

its fitting that he throws in urban legends at the end when the whole issue of abortion is non existent in Lisbon, even long before the new garuntees.

paulmacaree has couple of good videos explaining the connection between abortion and the Lisbon Treaty. Well worth viewing
