Even though I think this bill is bullshit, we also need to realize that the people who approve of this bill are people WE as American citizens elected into office. We need to stop electing dumbshits into office, we need to elect more people like Ron Paul.

Well okay If you're going to say that then yes I do agree with you. The choice for who we get to vote for is very limited. But there are plenty of candidates out there who aren't apart of the Republican or Democrats. So yes, we the people still do get to vote for who our president is going to be.

Do people really choose their president? Or do they choose between two super rich people who had the most money and were the smoothest talkers to win their party campaigns? You cant be on the ballot without having millions upon millions of dollars.

Yes I know the popular vote doesn't directly elect the president. The Electoral College does. But the reason Bush won that election is because he won the right states. He won the states that had the most electoral votes in the Electoral College. Gore won the smaller states that didn't have as many electoral votes in the Electoral College. So even though he may have won the popular he lost when it comes to electoral votes. This has happened I believe 2x ever. So still no evidence for your claims.
