Hello
I proudly presents you UT2004 Polish Community Fragmovie features many great players from Poland.
I put a high pressure on synch with music, which is well composed to such fast FPS as UT2004 is. (no, no there isn't any linkin park song or evanescence :P ).
What is more I wanted to make movie clearly edited with many special effects, which won't disturb enjoying it, but boost visual experiences.
Firstly I was working on: Athlon XP 2100+, 512 RAM & GF6. So editing was like a horror. What is more I gained many great demos with awesome frags, but many of them were recorded with 25fps so I was doing my best to do as smooth movie as it was possible. Many polish players play ut2k4 even if they have max 30fps in game!
Whatever, making this movie took me almost 2 months and a number of hours spent on making it. This is my 4th production and I gained all my experience and used in this mega project.
The beginning is in a moment when a topic, where polish players were able to paste their frags were made. I realized that I can organize them, and make a great movie featuring polish players. After I collected demos I started working on it. At first there was a technical problem, because after I spent about 50h on making intro my hdd died and there was nothing I could do to backup my files. So I started everything right from beginning. There are good sides of this accident -- I made a better intro :D Few weeks later I move my project to my asus with dual core 1,66GH 1GB RAM and GF Go 7300. Rendering time changed from 70h to 25h :] And then everything went better.
Our community is very small and it was hard to complete a right number of demos to make a movie. What is more demoplayback in ut2k4 is very poorly equipped.
