Law VS Gospel Pt 2

This is part 2 of a video response to standfastinthefaith's video "Our Righteousness".

I show from the scriptures how faith in Jesus Christ and observance of the Law of Moses are two mutually exclusive things. One will save you while the other will damn you. Choose Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul said concerning his Law righteousness:

If anyone else thinks he has reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for legalistic righteousness, faultless.

BUT WHATEVER WAS TO MY PROFIT I NOW CONSIDER LOSS FOR THE SAKE OF CHRIST. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Amen, it is Christ Jesus, who died for us and we will stand or fall according to His judgement. Jesus did say whoever teaches and does the law will be great in the Kingdom as well (or least if they do the opposite) but our righteousness is completely in Him, from faith to faith, start to finish. Hi Bud! :) "Legalism" in the sense of traditions of men is and always has been a grievance to our Lord. We are saved by Jesus through faith alone. The law (HIS law, not man's law) is good in that it shows us what sin IS, so that we may avoid it! We believe, we receive the very Spirit of God indwelling us, and He prompts us to read (feed on) the Word of God, thereby growing in knowledge and grace, repenting each time we see sin in our lives.

ditto so-called "youtube christians" are something else brotha Bud. i shared a video of a self proclaimed "messiah" featured on the Today Show. someone sent me a message highly upset & said I should change my username because I am deceiving people. smh & lol I told her to relax, i don't advocate the guy, i thought the vid was funny & ridiculous. btw, i love this vid, i faved it
