My Rubie's Supreme Edition Darth Vader Costume - 10/31/2007

This is me in my new Rubie's Supreme Edition Darth Vader costume. I didn't have a lot of time before this to modify it much, but there were some modifications made. A fan was added inside the helmet using a 9V battery and On/Off switch. Padding was added under the shoulder armor and extra padding added to the back of the helmet. All armor was clear-coated with about four coats on each piece. It will all get redone and better mods made to it by Halloween 2008.

UPDATE: For those asking what size the costume is and how tall I am, etc., here you go:

Costume Size: Standard
My Height: Around 6' to 6' 1"
My Weight: About 225 lbs.

@abc12319525 It retails for around $800 to $1,000, but you can find them on eBay for about half that, especially before Halloween. I purchased mine off eBay and saved about 60%.

Do you mean which entire suit? In that case, I'd probably have to say Boba Fett. I don't know for sure. The Rubie's Darth Vader is a sauna, however, if you are able, money wise, to afford one of the good leather suits made by a guy in Brazil, they are much cooler. As for Boba and Stormtrooper, probably depends on the under suit as well.

Hey dude, I'm thinking of buying one of these off the internet in a month or so, before the early halloween rush. Can you just tell me if it's worth the money? I'm already getting the Vader force FX lightsaber, but now I feel like going full-geek and getting this. So is it worth it? I've seen pretty good reviews, but you seem to be the only one on youtube who actually knows what they're doing in it (dancing Darth Vader? I'd sooner see the Emperor getting a botox injection).

Nice costume, but you're a little too short to be Vader. Stormtrooper would look better on you.

@starwarsjunkiie dont buy the rubies stormtrooper it is so bad you could get a screen accurate one for way cheaper. and as far as the boba fett one goes thats a joke you pay 900 bucks and you get a rubber belt lol
