I practiced this form for almost 2 years and about 3 months ago I realized that in order to get the balance I needed to perform this slow spinning kick I needed to spin on my heel and not the ball of my foot which is the way I have always spinned. For spinning for this particular technique I agree with the performers that you should spin on your heel.
do not pivot on your heal, there is no balance there, if you dont believe me, get up on both of your heals and try to walk a bit, and then try to kick a solid target while pivoting on your heal
It looks nice, but it s a god damned communist pattern. Do Ko-Dang instead.
