Not to mention the already mourning crowd of 200 people, commemorating an 18 year old's death at the hands of police, that were arrested because of the coercive power demonstrated by the police; at a peaceful protest condemning police brutality! If that didn't give Canadians' heads a good shake, I personally don't know what will. But, I hope that we as a nation will start to connect the dots before it's too late.

I would go as far as to say it began with Trudeau! Though Trudeau was a revolutionary in Canadian economy and equity in many respects, he also set Canada on the path to full coercive power. We are to be "liberated by coercive power" at any cost. Defining liberation has been a hushed topic since the Trudeau days and ultimately, Canadian citizens have largely been ignorant to the reality. One only has to recall the recent protest in Montreal. What was a peaceful march was turned into a disaster.

I whole-heartedly agree with you. Paul Martin sold our country, and willing gave up our independance in matters of finance and security. Who ever controls our money will control our security. It will not be Canadians, and we will be subject to what ever the intent of these behind the scenes bankers want with our country.
