Have you ever wondered what The vogues would sound like as a Psychedelic band? Well if you are crazy enough to think that here is your answer. The Racket Squad was the backing band for The Vogues on their biggest hit "You're The One". After the Vogues, they decieded to become their own band, and they released 2 LP's and many 45's on the Jubilee label. Their 1st Lp was mostly covers but they added a psychedelic feel to some, this being head and shoulders the best track on the LP. Frontman Sonny DiNunzio was a very well respected vocalist and had a long carrier in the music bussiness. This band is well worth checking out and their material is easy to obtain on cd and vinyl.

I played in a band yrs ago and had the chance to meet Sonny and the band what great guys . I saw Sonny last at the Mint Lounge in Charleroi . At that time I think they went under the name Sabastion. We sat and talked some about the old times. I was so sad when I heard of his passing . God bless you man. Bob

I love this song! I have the 45 and album both and will never part with them. Love the ending part which wasn"t on the 45. I used to listen to Terry Lee's oldies show and watch his show on tv. Great memories come back with this song! Wish Sonny was still here!

The song "No Fair At All" is probably their 2nd best record behind "Thats How Much I Love My Baby". It is probably their only true ballald and is availble on their cd if you can find it. In their prime they used to appear at the Twilight Lounge in McKees Rocks and they drew the people in.
