Good that these militia groups are popping up everywhere! Its a crying shame we don't have our militias in Canada active. I'm wondering if the military starts gun confiscations, or any other illegal stuff how can a civilian tell the difference between a Militia minute man and a regular soldier when they wear the same camo fatigue? Does the militia has a distinct uniform or brand/patch that distinguishes each member?

We are suppose to, and we do. Plus we do not use current issue military camo, we use the older woodland camo pattern. Don't want someone to say we we impersonating the military.

One thing I don't like about this whole movement is the idea that the constitution is the most important thing in the world. The constitution is just a piece of paper; it neither guaranteed any rights nor protected people from criminals. It's a piece of paper, it cant do that. Heres a thought: instead of swearing an oath to defend some paper, how about an oath to defend something tangible, like the people of the nation?

But those are just my thoughts. and I'll still fight alongside you.

Paper is paper, but the concept that IS America IS THE CONSTITUTION. Look at these three words written larger than the rest, words never written before, tall words proudly stating, WE THE PEOPLE.

Never in the history of the world had this conceipt, put to paper, then put to practice existed. It has been, I THE KING or I THE LEADER, not WE THE PEOPLE. Words have meaning, and you cannot kill an ideal, and that is what the oath to "defend and protect" is all about.

You're not going to have to, they will both be on the same side. Our military is well aware of the issues, they are well aware of the dangers, and few are going to follow the gov't if they step over that line.

This country is a loaded cannon and with every attack on our freedoms, it only becomes more so.

It is natural for the enemy and tyrants to label those that fight for freedom 'terrorists', yet when true intentions become known, the label changes to patriot.
