The Chenchus are one of the last remaining tribes in India. They live a hand-to-mouth existence in the forest but attempts to integrate them in society have failed.
For centuries, the Chenchus have survived as hunter-gathers. They have no food preservation techniques and no interest in material wealth. But the Chenchus' traditional forest homeland has recently been declared a tiger sanctuary. Attempts to turn the Chenchus into farmers failed. They refuse to leave their forest and are struggling to adapt to new lifestyles.

The Chenchus aren't the problem; the problem are the poachers who use the Chenchus and their superior knowledge of the forests to target endangered species.

What we really need in our life are happiness and peace,and they have it both.We were all born naked,and will die naked.They are primitive,not study,but they know how to respect each other,how to pray,how to love.I really hope that they will always live in their peace,and no one disturb them,they have right to live in peace with happiness ..._/\_...

Yet, even here - callousness towards other beings (the goat). As expressed by a woman who owns a small farm in the States - our 'meat' animals (and others) are only on this earth for a brief period of time. Do we not owe them the best life conditions (including kindness and regard) that we can offer to them while they are here?

if they are living in harmony with the endageed / protected wildlife. Then leave them alone!!!! They're not the ones responsible nor adding to the problem.
