I was impressed with how well Leipold did in this bout, I scored it 2-1. In fact one of the points I scored for Saitiev was debatable. I've never seen anyone get out of so many of Saitiev's attacks like that, but given how young Saitiev looks it's likely this was the closest bout Leipold would ever have with Buvaisar. He was likely just getting started on the Senior circuit. This is probably either 95' or 97' world championship finals.
Easy, Satiev didn't get owned by Slay. He lost in overtime on a double leg takedown. One match. He never got the chance to prove who was better because Slay retired at a young age. 9 times out of 10 Satiev wins. Slay found that one time and made sure to evade the possibility of the other 9 occuring by retiring.
@361Ocerg this is 97 world championship final 76k

and the next thing, Leipold took drugs. They took the gold medal from him, and gave it to Slay.
