Episode 02: "Catnipvision." (2/3)
Originally produced in 2002 and aired on Access San Francisco, Cable Channel 29.
Music: "The Conet Project: Recordings of Shortwave Numbers Stations," and "Auroral Chorus II: Music of the Magnetosphere" by Stephen P. McGreevy.
Contains the "nip sequence," our first usage of studio effects. The music for the sequence was actually from Episode 01.
This show is very much a relic of its time. There was no YouTube, and cat videos weren't so plentiful on the internet. (Cat pictures, yes, but not cat videos.) It was created for television. We were on public access cable at half past midnight, and our intended audience was people flipping through channels--the sleepless and the stoned.
Apparently I am your intended audience :)
