Purchased the ALBUM within the month it was released. To the rest of you, better late than never. Sorry the REST of you were so SLOW to catch on. Try "Mentlnotes" and go from there.

@MatineeIdyll the problem is this..... JOURNEY, STYX, FOREIGNER!!! That's what promoters shoved down people's throats and that's why people are slow to pick up. The charts and radio dictate what the general public listen to and the general public lap it up. England is no different... most of their music buying public depend on music magazines, which are xenophobic and self-interested. Living in Australia was a good in those days... we didn't have to contend with that bullshit...

@nzoz1983 Well said. Forgive my fit of cynicism. You have hit the nail on the head. Sadly, it seems to only be getting worse...what promoters are shoving down our throats. The Split Enz were a much underrated and under exposed musical group. I have been lucky to see Tim and Neil Finn perform together once on tour of "Woodface," and in 2004 when they toured together after the release of "Everyone Is Here." They played some Split Enz music as well. It was a beautiful thing. Cheers!

@MatineeIdyll Sorry for the late response... Split Enz were all but under exposed in Australia, infact, I think the general public could live the rest of its life without hearing 'I Got You' again.

@nzoz1983 Agree. The radio programmers decide what the hits are going to be. The sad thing is that most people never get to hear a lot of the great songs that are recorded.

@magpiesx5 the thing is, these programmers will eventually lose their leverage...and good riddance. MTV was once a racist little cable station and commercial radio speaks for itself... youtube seems to be the only way to spread good tunes, but it wont be long til something better comes along.
