@rlgodbold: Well there was no limit in 1990 (when Mike Rich, member of Bill Elliott's team, died in a pit road incident)... I think pit road speed limit was implied midway through the 1991 season.

@rlgodbold - Pit road speed limits started in 1991 I believe, the season after pit crew members were killed at Atlanta when Dale won his fourth championship.

hey rigodbold....get your eyes checked! Thats a girl, not Dale Earnhardt Jr. at 4:23... if you pause it, you can see her earrings and her hair pulled up in the back of the cap pause it at 4:27 and you can see clearly shiny earrings in her right ear...don't think Senior would've stood for an ear bob on his baby boy!!!

@rlgodbold 1991 they brought in an alternating Odd even pit stop with a speed limit, but a year later brought in the Speed limit. we see now.

Young Dale Earnhardt Jr. is at 4:23. Thats him in the red shirt. Wasn't 87 the year they started pit road speed limits or had that not happend yet?
