Lata mangeshkar live in concert(Medley-part-1)

this is the most difficult part of queen in concert,where lataji have to perform all (starting part) song continuosly& she done complete justice. inpite of her age at 70s not any other singer can dare to sing.hat's off to her

It is hard to believe that the songs are being sung live! Except for Md.Rafi I haven't heard any singer whose live performances are exactly same as the recorded versions. It shows the extent of her sincerity and respect to the listeners as well as composers...

I love the medley... sooooo amazing.... but not every renowned heroin is there in the medley.

For example from the 1950s: Beena Rai and Shyama is missing and from the 1970s: Zeenat Aman is missing for example. :) Anyway i love it

I,don't know about 40s & 50s heroine but zeenat aman,jaya bachan,juhi,amrita singh were edited from d medley,in live performance all these heroines were there.

i think tis not possible to include all singers in any medly but see the next concerts whihc she did in that the medley she gave was of different actress songs than this actress which are here

Listening to Lata Mangeshkar is like listening to the whole history of bollywood cinema. She has sang for every actress worth her salt and what more each of them has been immortalised by her.

Madhubala , Meena Kumari , Nargis , Vyjantimala , Nutan , Geeta Bali , Nimmi , Sadhana , Mala Sinha , Nanda , Asha Parekh , Sharmila Tagore , Rakhee , Hema Malini , Mumtaz , Jaya Bhadhuri, Rekha , Sridevi , Madhuri Dixit , Juhi Chawla , Manisha Koirala.. every screen goddess has been immortalised..

oh..that's great...i am listening to the medleys now and as i carefully analyse the compositions from 40's to present, I feel that there has been a very gradual decline in the quality of compositions after 70's and a more visible decline after 90's. The older songs were more based on classical Raagas and had less western influence.Also the nature of lyrics have markedly changed ( or rather degraded ?).The oldies had nice urdu lyrics which were so soft and meaningful in expressing feelings.
