Outstanding project in so many ways! I like the design of the shelf unit and the fact that it was done using regular homeowner tools of the sort one can get from any big box hardware/home improvement store makes this project accessible to just about everybody.

This is really cool and a really great job, I'm trying to build my own shelving unit and even though it's not quite like this one I'm trying to get a lot of exposure and pick up tips, I was wondering how you attached the shelves? It doesn't look like they're nailed and I wouldn't trust wood glue alone. Your response is much appreciated!

@sunshine3317 We actually used a nail gun (pneumatic nail gun) to attach the shelves. With the wood filler, some sanding and paint, you cant even tell there are nails holding them in. We did the standard 4 nails, one inch from each corner. You can also do the same with nails and a hammer or even screws but of course if you want the look of no nails or screws, you have a larger hole to fill after you sink them. Hope this helps... -T
