RANT about Joker impersonating

Here's another product of my A.D.Dness.

[disclaimer: I should have included this in the recording but I just want to say it shouldn't be taken offensively at all, there are many imitators who do sound like the joker (ex: CiscOreo) but they are still lacking something in their impressions (which I attempt to explain in this rant). I'm not trying to be cocky either, because I haven't quite gotten yet either.

The Joker impressions are FUCKING ANNOYING (ALL OF THEM) and the voice isn't something super special. Just a standard smartass nerdy tone. There's nothing special about sounding like Joker. Your not going to get a job SOUNDING like him. People watch so they can feel like critics and people post for a narcissistic pat on the back. The impersonations are POINTLESS. Nolan won't acknowledge this geek shit in his movies. Halloween was horrible this year. People always destroy a good thing. Stop!

And just to add to that, I recently got ahold of a copy of Dark Knight, and as soon as I got to the scene where the Joker kills Gambol, all I could hear in my head was the countless 841230840239 annoying impressions I've seen on youtube, and it actually got in the way of me actually enjoying the movie. It's really sad and it's also the reason why I've stopped watching them. =\

See, that's fucked up. To have your enjoyment of the film tainted by this shit. And you don't even have to watch all the videos to be infected cause there's some dude with joker make-up on everywhere on youtube. Its so ridiculous that I have to wonder what a person is thinking when they get the idea to do it as if no one has done it before. One dude was posting an impression every 5 minutes, got beside himself and made some retarded Joker jesus video. Its fucking stupid.

Scary thing is I know what video ur talking about. I mean, I LOVE this movie, most people do, but when someone starts comparing a movie to a world religion I think its a sign that its going way too far. I started impersonating Heath as a way to prepare for my short film. But honestly, if I want people to take my work/writing seriously I'll have to do it without the imitation. Same thing if NOLAN brings back another actor for the Joker - itll just seem like a cheap impersonator on the big screen.

Not a bad impression, it's one of the best ones I've heard so far..but I actually think your Batman is better than your Joker. Interesting. Keep it up, you could nail it, I bet with more practice.

personally I think that your are much better than Ciscoreo, he is just too high pitced and maintains the same voice, and when he goes low he goes too low. I know how you feel about Joker impressions but I do my own as well. but it took me forevor to get the voice.
