Singing Ice

So, an Arctic front moved south from Canada and froze all of Washington. Every year when this happens, the lake in front of my house freezes. Over the years, I've learned you can skip stones across the ice and it'll make whistling noises. Very fun. I have to wonder what my neighbors across the lake think when they find a load of rock sitting on the ice all around their docks, haha!

Nice video! I love the sound ice makes....I made a video in Washington near where I live of singing ice, too. Although the ice was thicker and made a much deeper sound.
