Man's got his woman to take his seed He's got the power - oh She's got the need She spends her life through pleasing up her man She feeds him dinner or anything she can
She cries alone at night too often He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all Only women bleed Only women bleed Only women bleed
Man makes your hair gray He's your life's mistake All you're really lookin' for is an even break
He lies right at you You know you hate this game He slaps you once in a while and you live and love in pain
She cries alone at night too often He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all Only women bleed Only women bleed Only women bleed
Black eyes all of the time Don't spend a dime Clean up this grime And you there down on your knees begging me please come Watch me bleed
Only women bleed Only women bleed Only women bleed Only women bleed Only women bleed Only women bleed Only women bleed ___________________
Alice Cooper (born Vincent Damon Furnier; February 4, 1948) is an American rock singer, songwriter and musician whose career spans five decades. With a stage show that features guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, and boa constrictors, Cooper has drawn equally from horror movies, vaudeville, heavy metal, and garage rock to create a theatrical brand of rock music that would come to be known as shock rock. In 1969, right at the height of psychedelia, Cooper launched his successful stage career: We were into fun, sex, death and money when everybody was into peace and love. We wanted to see what was next. It turned out we were next, and we drove a stake through the heart of the Love Generation.
Welcome to My Nightmare is a concept album by Alice Cooper, released in 1975. This was Alice Cooper's first solo album (all previous Alice Cooper releases were band efforts). The cover artwork was created by Drew Struzan. Rolling Stone Magazine would later vote it as one of the Top 100 Album Covers Of All Time.
Welcome to My Nightmare is a concept album. The songs, heard in sequence, form a journey through the nightmares of a child named Steven.
A Halloween favorite and a renowned rock album, Welcome to My Nightmare inspired the Alice Cooper: The Nightmare TV special and a worldwide concert tour in 1975, and the Welcome To My Nightmare concert film in 1976.
A line in the song Cold Ethyl references Refrigerator Heaven, a song from Alice's second album, 1970's Easy Action.

"Only Women Bleed" is a song written by the musicians Alice Cooper and Dick Wagner. It is a ballad about a woman in an abusive marriage.
It is one of Cooper's biggest hits, reaching #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 1975. It is from his album Welcome to My Nightmare. It was the first of several ballad releases by Cooper that got into the top 20.
The single was released prior to the release of Welcome to My Nightmare in the US as a shortened version of the song, and was alternatively titled "Only Women" (perhaps the omission of the word "bleed" was done in an effort to have the release appeal to a wider market audience). The single version of the song featured more orchestral parts than the album version.
Guns N' Roses used to play this song in concert as an intro to "Knockin' on Heaven's Door".
The song was featured on the soundtrack to Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween.

I think Stimmp means the message of what he's trying to say for women(way ahead of his time in recognizing certain issues) and of course the beautiful arrangement....peace all...
