Im taking a wild guess here, but considering that the uk is falling into a police state (well id say we are already there but hey) they could use these fingerprints to set up any person at anytime for any crime, thus eliminating any opposition to there agenda? any thoughts anybody?

Assume a world where you committed a small offense years ago. You did your time or paid your fines. Now you want to go to a restaurant, club, theater, hotel etc, and each place bars entry based on the assumption of threat from a thumbprint dbase.
What if insurance companies started offering lower premiums to establishments that refused any customer with a threat level above 0?
And, what if protesting your government could result in a threat assessment against you?
