  • @finnbarrhagan Hi Finn, sounds like a good wedding. I often play for an hour as everyone is arriving at the hotel. great practice as well as great exercise for our lungs! I love Lagan Love, havent played it for a while though. Keep up the piping! Do you play the small pipes much?

  • Very, very nicely played.

  • @finnbarrhagan i can't tell you if bagpipes are to be played militairy. fact is that they appear to be atleast a part of militairy ceremony (i don't have a problem with it).

i'm dutch and a relative of me plays bagpipes. he has started a project where he challenges a few bands to make music together with a bagpipe player. its a bit limited due to the guitar chords. i guess it might be a great addition when those sounds come together and he would love to see people will enjoy this experience.

  • Irish (ullian) pipes aren't blown oraly, are those not scottish? Lovely tune, well played nonetheless.

  • @Albainn1 thats the irish-americans for you not really irish at all they should take up morris dancing as this isnt an irish wedding.

  • @seonidh the kilt came to Scotland with the Picts, the Picts called themselves the Brittanii, Picts was the Roman name, the Brittanii were from the South of mordern England mainly and were the first permanant inhabitants, they bought with them Tartan, Kilts, folklore, paganism, etc they practiced headhunting and human sacrifice, The Scotti tribe from Northern Ireland then raided and invaded the west coast of Scotland, Hence the East/West rivalry.

  • @TheIrishBagpiper wait till ya see the set leslie cowel from the nail bagpipe co here in somerset is making for me, i had a set of d pipes but the a set are better, i go down every week to torture them for bargins, youll love theise ones they are unique. nice for playing at funeralsand shindigs.
