This shows the donation of a desalination unit to the people of Chuuk in 2010. This comes from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The unit can take ocean water and make over 26,000 gallons a day of pure drinking water. The footage was taken by a missionary. I compiled the footage and mixed the audio. The artists of the songs gave me their consent for their use.

  • how much does a desalination unit like this cost? and how much water can it churn out in a month?

  • @mykenmoon

A unit like this would cost somewhere between a quarter and half a million USD. It pumps out just over 26,000 gallons of fresh water a day.
