'America's Next Top Model All-Stars' Episode 1 Recap

Tonight was the big premiere of Cycle 17 -- aka the All-Star Cycle -- of America's Next Top Model! The first photo shoot has the 14 fan favorites re-enacting exaggerated versions of their personas from their Cycles.

At a special live panel presentation the girls walk before ANTM fans, plus judges Tyra Banks, Andre Leon Tally, Nigel Barker and guest judge Nicki Minaj and Tyra Banks.

Pat, did you get a better camera? I haven't double-checked, but I think the video quality is better than in all of your previous videos. Or maybe it's just that I'm on a different computer than usual. =)

Cool recap, I agree with most of the things you said.

As you've been saying every cycle: ANTM is a TV show first, and a modelling competition second. It's funny that this cycle, they can even say this out loud - that it's about personality and not modelling. XD
