Mary Cappello, author of Awkward: a Detour, learns new things about awkwardness from her nine-year-old friend Natasha. Precociousness, and child-knowledge out of bounds, is one of the things that Cappello contemplates in Awkward. Stay tuned for more conversations on awkwardness. With thanks to Jean Walton and Arturo.
I'm very impressed by her intelligence and clarity to define and clarify an abstract concept. Her facility with language is excellent. The questioner did a fine job also. Thank God for the next generation.

Natasha is clearly gifted and talented. Her grasp of the question is astonishing for a child her age. i am a close friend of her uncle Alex's and he happened to show me this delightful clip of this lovely young lady. Alex and I enjoyed it immensely. We both think she should post many more. What a pleasure to finally see the "genius" of a niece that Alex has always spoken so highly of.
Respectfully yours,
Lucia
P.S. Uncle Alex loves you!!!!!
