MP3: http://archive.org/download/PantheonSteelSamples/Halo_Cirrus-Sirenity.mp3
Late night improvisation on a Halo Cirrus in the La Sirena tuning, (E) G B C# D E F# G B. Unedited recording made with iMovie using a Zoom H2 as an external stereo microphone (front omni capsules at 90 degrees).
The refined timbre in this clip is not a recording artifact; Kyle Cox and Jim Dusin, Halo makers, were hard at work advancing the instrument this past fall! (This instrument was made in December 2011.)
For best audio quality, watch at 480p
