hey dumb shit, look it up. since 07 the Z71 has been available on 2WDs. this is one of those trucks - a 2WD Z71

z71 and z66 are just suspension packages. They have nothing to do with the drive of the truck z71 is offroad and the z66 is the highway package.
Correct me if im wrong on this

@4wd4ever wrong. the Tahoe was available as a 4x2 Z71 since 2005. this current generation has been available as a 4x2 Z71 since its first year, 2007

If that's a Z71 then it's definitely the driver and not the vehicle.
I gone thru much more serious stuff and never gotten stuck ~ not even approaching getting stuck.
He could've deflated the tires and got out, maybe even spin the tires a little?

@301steady this was a 2WD Z71 and the driver knew what he was doing... kinda. he had enough sense to NOT sit there and spin his tires at 60mph until he was sitting on the frame, like most idiots that get stuck in the sand.

i seriously doubt its a z71, the z71 is an off road package.... they don't put it on 2wd vehicles

@novanastalga i seriously doubt you know what you're talking about. since '07 the Z71 package has been available with both 4x2 and 4x4 models.
