Hi, I sent you the invitation to the alternative Bedini thread. The circuit is great but you make a few incorrect statements. For example, you do not want to play with the transistor base resistance at all when you switch over to the 555-based timing circuit. Feel free to join the thread and we can discuss it there if you want.

Great demo, of course. The best part is the clarity of the whole presentation and filming. Dan B.

Thank you my friend, ill add that to the panacea uni document with your credits, well done

Excellent video Lee. I have been using your circuit for a few months now and have found that it does what it says on the tin.

Thanks for the documentation.

I love the quiet of solid state. What is your definition of optimal charging?

@marthale7
Hi Marty, I define optimal charging as providing the best return, during load tests, from a specific circuit or method of controlling a specific circuit during the charge cycle.
Regards Lee.

@smw1998a I looked at your document, very nice! this maybe what I need for my Jetjis circuit. So if i understand you the best results are the best load test. For your load test are you applying a timed load or are you using a meter that puts x load on the batteries? Thank you for your clear document, and sharing what you have.

Hi Mart, thanks for your kind words. My load tests are always based on work done. I load the battery with a known load and measure how long the battery takes to reach a given voltage under load, eg 11.5v for a c20 load. The problem with this type of charging is, the battery begins to behave differently, increased standing voltage and so forth, so battery analyzers or short duration heavy loading, can give a false state of charge reading or capacity reading.
Regards Lee.
