I remember when I watched this on HBO years ago when it first premiered. I fell in love with it.
I can see why most people don't like it. Mainly because they have different opinions on music and another reason is because of their stupidity. But this movie is amazing, it makes soooo much sense if you really pay attention It has much meaning and is perfect.

I watched this movie in music class a while ago and I think I was the only one who really understood the story. All others just laughed at it and thought this movie was gay and retarded. It's ridiculous how many people these days take music as either a source for tons of money or a way to be cool rather than the 'harmonic connection of all living beings' (2:12)
