Monica Goodling testified today in hearings on the firing of eight U.S. Attorneys. Katie Couric says politics shouldn't trump competence when it comes to running the government. (CBSNews.com)
Have you watched or read the Goodling testimony yourself, or are you just letting someone else think for you? I have the transcript in front of me here. Would you please point out where you believe Couric's summary is misleading or incorrect?
This is an excellent summary. I'm impressed! She's not going to roll over and play dead the way the rest of the mainstream media does in response to and administration spiraling out of control.
Monica Goodling, who resigned in April and sought immunity from prosecution, was one of roughly 150 members of the Bush Administration who were graduates of a university founded by televangelist Pat Robertson.
Is there anything illegal about a President doing whatever he wants and disregarding the American people; I guess not as far as the Republican Party is concerned. Settle in and enjoy the dictatorship we are living under, as long as one Republican still holds office. Only way to clean up the cancer in our democracy is by voting out every Republican in every state office.
kc -- guess your doing something right if you piss-off both the left and right. Like the historical railroad comment == bushie !
