i was looking at some of my videos and unearthed this one. it's another soundless video, but it shows how strong the wind was at the height of the storm near Covington, Louisiana, facing South. yes, we stayed through the entire thing...but we live north of new orleans and missed the worst of it. trust me, the video does not do it justice. just thought it'd be interesting to share.
i am a survivor of hurricane katrina the only that saved us was how big our house was. We lived in the maple ridge subdivision in covington la a tree came right through the living room we were in the kitchen im 14 now.

this is very much indeed a very gripping moving dedication. i've wrote a poem months later to finally express how this event impacted me.
maybe i will work on a video clip reading that poem for all of you to see. i will also plan to include it in my upcoming book CANDLES IN MY CLOSET-THE LOVE BOOK which should be available AUGUST 30th.

I live in Covington. We stayed for the hurricane as well. We watched trees fall and all. It's scary.

Morgan, that wind was NOTHING compared to near my house. BOTH of my houses were hit by a tree. BOTH! Damn, but it was kinda fun durring the hurricane. I'm weird like that. I love to experience hurricanes >_<
