Summer Glau is way too underrated as an actress.

River can break the fourth wall.

Summer Glau is too amazing for words. It's so great to see River as her real self, before the "academy" fucked her up, in the first clip. That one, along with Summer Glau's performance, really makes it hit home all the harm they did to such an incredible person.

I f*cking love River! I remember earlier this Summer, I was invited to a friend's house and we watched "Serenity." Even though I've never even seen "Firefly," I fell in love with this 17-year-old character the minute they mentioned her, what with her unique name and abilities. In fact, how could you *not* feel sorry for her-- having to deal with being differant and trying to cope with their adventures!? She reminds me a lot of myself: Extremely Intelligent. Uncontrollable Actions & Emotions.

When she said i can see you i almost pissed me myself.

I love how her vioce changes when she goes crazy. wierdos like her make me laugh. I'll be in me bunk.
-
How could they do this to such a sweet girl?!

@C666O THAT'S HIM!? Oh my Gryffindor! My brain is blowing up right now!

"Would I still be allowed to dance?" Excuse me while I go and sob.

What got me unsettled is the fact that Whedon himself makes a really good villain.
@brinderwalt42 Except that the release order is the intended order, period. It's the order in which they are presented on the DVD, and the structure is intentional -- a structure TV (including various Whedon episodes) uses all the time. Session 416 simply is not a chronological story; it's meant to loop back.

@theonetruebix It's meant to hook viewers in by presenting them with a cleverly disorienting narrative structure the point of which was to motivate them into discovering the upcoming feature film "Serenity" for which the clips served as a form of viral marketing. The chronological order above is based solely on the dramatic arc contained in the clips themselves and is not meant to supplant the original order, but merely to give a stronger emphasis on that very same dramatic arc.
