Anyway; you're talking about phishers. People who trick people into giving away their information by clicking on a link of a site made to look like another. Protecting yourself from this 'attack' is as simple as learning the URL format.

With actual hacking; a lazy/ignorant/bad programmer or admin leaves a security hole open and they exploit it. Go after the people not doing their jobs if you have to.

FYI; any real programmer can hack.
