I did the ride from key west to california . from texas to california i ride part of the classic route 66 , going to grand canyon . the original plan heading alaska , i consider its not the proper time because of the winter. I'm still in California at my sister house. I started in october 22. You can see some photos in facebook under my account Pedro Ivan Rivera Rolon. Add me as a friend.

how muc did it cost in total? like lodging food and all that stuff. repairs ect? were most of the roads paved or dirt? :)

thanks! i don't know about the money, I was a student at that time so it was pretty cheap, and we slept always outside for free. We paid for food and gas (+rear tire), that's about it. I would say less than $1500, and I am talking 19.000 km & 6 weeks.
80% paved, 20% dirt
