Monday: WRITING WEEK - Character Building

This week is writing week. YEY! It's all about character building and our different processes of bulking up a rounded character for our readers enjoyment. I give you a brief synopsis of my process and how I keep my work strait.

Yes I write in notebooks to begin with computers scare my brain when I'm coming up with new stuff. :D

BTW this is filmed on a different camera because I'm a retard and forgot my video camera at work. *failwhale

Hi I'm new to your videos. To answer your question on how I create characters, I usually write down a few adjectives that describe them. I then take those adjectives and try to find a picture of a person who best relates to my character.

It's really the only way for me. I drop projects so often and come back to them later.

My storyboard/outline right now is 5pgs long. At this point I'm coveting Castle's Touchscreen computer!

Also, all this organizing explains why I can't bring my thoughts in order to actually write anything that would make sense.

I'm quite impressed by those character notebooks... and amazed that you end up putting so much in them. It's a good idea, though - there's no way we could hold that amount of information in our brains indefinitely.

I used to do it all the time but I cut my hair. Now it's time for a hair cut so, I can pull it off for now :D

You need to share your stock photo secrets. I usually don't care too much about the physical description of my characters, but that could be fun to play with anyway.

I do the same thing with my characters. I looks up actors or actresses or even models, like I'm casting a movie and then I'll put them together.

PS. I love ur hair up like that you should do it more often. :)
