@PratSh33p Keep in mind this was 1966 when the crimes came to light; the role of women in society back then was to be mothers and maternal; a woman child killer shocked the then very Conservative society of 1960's Britain.
-
must have been awful for Dave Smith to witness Brady and Hindley kill Edward the fifth child to be murdered
-
Getting into character is still own actor's interpretation, acting has to be visually captivating and I think here Harris was brilliant and stylish.
-
I loved Sean Harris in this, he was brilliant!

@SamFem Greater Manchester accent. Glottal stop (dropping the 'tt's) makes 'pittance' sound like 'pince'. The dole is state unemployment benefits.
I grew up in Stalybridge, about a mile from Ashton.

Brady was psychopathic with a very high IQ. I thought the portrayal was good. Nobody can get inside the head of such a monster with 100% accuracy.
-
@SamFem she says 'i'm on a pittance' - which means she has next to no money (dole is benefit given to people who are unemployed
-
@SamFem He's saying "Rahter than explain to wifey why he came back beaten"

I didn't like Sean Harris in this at all. I think he made Brady out to be bumbling man who just said whatever came into his head. Kinda portrayed him like he didn't know what was going on half the time himself. Which is not true, he planned out everything, including what to say to people, in his head all the time. Yes I know he is a public hate figure and Im in no way saying I support him but the man is a classified genius. So to potray him like this was wrong.
