  • This is great tutorial. As a beginner also I was wondering how long it should take a true novice to learn this... Chord transition is still a bit difficult for me...

  • It could take a while depending on the person. Just keep practicing it slowly, eventually the transitions will become easy. They key with guitar is just to keep playing, a little everyday if you can.

  • I love your lesson on this great Sundays song. But, as a beginner, I have trouble hearing the fast strum pattern, - could you please explain as in Duduud etc. Then a beginner can slow it till it comes more natural. I'd really appreciate this!

  • Sure mate, I'll do a slower version of the strumming pattern. Just give me a few weeks and I'll get it up :)

  • It's been forever since I've looked at this video. Glad it helped some people. If you want to see what I've been doing lately, check out my new channel, josephpaul2.

  • Awesome! I love the "Sundays'" chords, all those open strings, and 9ths and maj7ths. You've got a great bouncy strum feel. Thanks for the lesson!

  • Sounds great! Thanks for breaking this down - open chords can be hard to figure out!

  • Hi Joseph.

Thanks for a great tutorial on how to play the chords.

Your strumming sounds great - a really catchy rhythm. I see you said a while back that you'd try to do another video to teach us how to do it -- any chance of that please??

    Cheers

  • Once again Joseph, quick-ass tutorial. Easily playable the way you teach it.

  • Cool

  • i wish you could not let the guitar neck drop out of frame. not to critisize, its just the neck moves so much, my eyes are chasing the positioning, and its hard to follow. sorry....

  • Nicely done, Joseph!
