Feb. 5, 2008 an EF4 Tornado hit Sharon Baptist Church in Savannah, TN. These are some pictures of the damage. Praise God no one was hurt!

I remember this when it was yesterday. I was 17 and an Explorer on the Hardin County Fire Department and went out that night, absolutely devastating

I lived right down the street from this church when it happened. It was sad.

Excellent video! Have passed the church many times on the way to visit my daughter and her family that live only a short distance from Sharon Baptist. They lost their garage and have severe damage to the roof on their house. Atkins, AR is about 60 miles from where we live. We were watching tv re those storms not not knowing Savannah was being struck about the same time.

I seen that the day after, that was sad. We rarely have tornados of that strentgh and cause such damage. I wasn't that far from that area when it happened. So is another church beiung built yet? I haven't been in that area since it happened.
