Nice PC, your worst mistake was upgrading to a 580, biggest waste of cash ever when you simply had to bump the 480's clocks a little to get 580 performance.

To be fair, I old the 480 first - the upgrade didn't cost much.

People who prefer better quality sound, and more customization, or custom inputs/outputs.
So... plenty of people.

I knew that he had an AMD octo-core processor. I was assuming that if he had the money to spend on a 4gb GPU and 64 gb of ram, he would at least get the best AMD cpu

If you can afford it yes intel processors are great. the second computer that we have is a older core i5 Processor that runs like a champ, but I still prefer my 1045T that I have.

Oh, I must have come across wrong, sorry. I meant that if you one put their money into 64 gb of RAM, then I would think they would have enough money to put into something like an i7 3770k, which is better, usually, then the AMD 8350. I love AMD, I have a 6350 in my own build. However, at higher price ranges, Intel is usually the way to go.
