just a thought for more power as it looks like you are trying to get....see if you can locate a gasket kit and if so try to port and polish the cylinder or just build up some kind of long tube header

Would the glow plug conversion work with a 2 stroke? And what size glow plug were you using?
Thanks

will this work on a 2 stroke engine .i blew my old nitro max 46 marine v and the piston and sleave and rod is around 100$ but i got a tiny 2 stroke . can i convert it . if i can loose the fly wheel it will fit in my twin pontoon hydroplane and not be too heavy .

Yes, it works as well with a 2 stroke. I used a common #3 plug.

With glow plug and glow fuel, you can loose the weight ofthe magneto and flywheel, with glow and gasoline you need a small glow battery to keep the glow plug energised, but still less weight than a mag and flywheel.

I have converted Homelite 25's to glow and they run fine with a prop for a flywheel and a glow plug where the spark plug once was. If you use glow, the glow driver is used only for starting, but if you use the gasoline/oil mix you will have to power the glow plug continuously.
For a boat application you may want to keep the flywheel so it will run.

I just got the same exact engine for $40. How many cc is the engine? Mines 26.2cc I just want to know so I can try modding my carb like yours to 0.0145 since my engine runs very lean at full throttle.

This is a 26 cc engine allso. I don't know the history of my engine, it may have a high altitude carb which would explain the lean main jet at sea level. Opening the main jet to .0145 definately made the engine run better.
